Erin is a writer, reporter, and editor whose work has appeared in the Washington Post, Bloomberg Businessweek, and the New York Times. She also edits and writes for brands, books, and non-profits.
Before going freelance, she was the travel editor at Outside, where she helped the magazine win more Lowell Thomas Travel Journalism Awards than any other publication two of the three years she was there.
Before that, she co-edited and wrote for the travel section at Departures, which went out to 1.8 million American Express Platinum and Black cardholders.
She’s lived in Singapore, Mauritius, Malaysia, China, the Philippines, Lebanon, and the U.A.E., and is currently based between Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Istanbul, Turkey.
